RE: TOP 10 reasons/excuses you crashed
I can't blame it on glue (I wish I could). The wing fold up was on my first plane - a Hobbico Superstar. I didn't know much about building and after the crash that broke the wing the first time, I didn't do a very good job gluing it back together. When the tail came off, there was no repair to fail. I'm guessing that a previous hard landing (cartwheel) loosened the tail feathers and caused them to come off in a later flight. I'm just guessing because I don't know for sure. The plane looked fine after the cartwheel and had at least a half dozed flights before the failure, but I can't figured out what else would have caused it. That one I can blame purely on poor preflight. While all these crashes suck, they happened over about 6 yrs and I've learned from all of them.
