RE: Ultra Rc Evolution
Hey Jarvis,
Ok, well. I made my statements before I started building really. Now that I have started I have found all of the same problems as you and then some. The cowl actually will fit if you put the bottom in first, then squeeze the sides, then slide the top in. Well, that's how I got mine to fit.
My ailerons are severly warped!! Don't know if I'll be able to straighten them or not. Haven't tried yet.
The coverering on both of mine has come really lose also. I'll probably recover it!!
The covering work is ok but the finish sanding leaves alot to be desired!!!!! Looks like they forgot to sand the wings and stabs!
One of the Evolutions I have has the canopy gap and the other doesn't.
As I have been getting more accomplished, I keep thinking that these planes were put together by some 6 year old kids in a sweat shop!!!!!!!
Jarvis, they have alot of problems, but I have yet to buy an arf that meets my expectations.
You and I know each others build qualities. It's hard to live up to them when you buy an arf.
I'm trying to remember each time I get pissed about the quality that it's not a $3300 Oxai!!!
It's a $430 dollar Ultra Rc.
I doubt you will get an answer from them as that's been their way of doing business as rumor has it!!!!!!!
Good luck J
Chris
