Default RE: DA50 Vs EVO58

T.bob there is no risk with the Evolution 58GX. I have been flying my 58GX Generation 1 know for over 6 gallons and it flys my TOC1 Yak 54 30% just fine. Matter of fact I have a friend with a DA50 on a WH Edge, been in the shop know 5 times in two years. Yes you are right about DA's service, impeckable. However, if you get a front line person @ Horizon vs. a manager then yes a little squirlley but nothing that can't be fixed by asking for a product manager. Both motors are very good motors, but I really feel the GX is a better fit for most 25, 28 and 30% airplanes.
