Default RE: Online Spelling Mafia

I really couldn't agree less with the OP. Yeah, I do make spelling and grammatical errors, but because of the "spelling mafia" I make the extra effort to check my posts for any obvious flaws. I've been on some forums where there is absolutely no regard for spelling and grammar and I have to say they are difficult to read. One thing I really like about this site is the care most people put into their posts. I'm not one to correct someone on their bad grammar. I wouldn't reply to a post just to say, "hey learn how to spell - jerk." Chances are that if the spelling and grammar are that bad, I wouldn't respond at all. I really don't care if there are a few spelling mistakes or misuse of homonyms, but I really can't stand a post that shows absolutely no regard for the language. I apologize if I offended anyone, I just don't want to see this site degrade to the level of some of the forums I've seen.
