The OS1.40RX is still the most powerful, easiest to operate,tune,maintain put fuel in it an fly engine ever made as a total package. yes the YS is a killer engine and I fly them but they demand far more maint and attention to detail than the OS. I guess we can't have F-1 performance and F150 dependability.
Electrics are still in the baby stage as far as a power system. I'm betting it'll be 5 years before the avg pattern flier goes to electric. The price of equipment and such will have to come down alot before that happens, but it will happen. I'll wait until they've worked all the bugs out of these systems before I jump onto that band wagon.
Sad when the top .005% of the fliers in the world drive what happens in the rest of the pattern community.
