We fly out west, off of Pellissippi Parkway. It's a little ways from you, but come out some weekend, there's usually at 5 or so people (more on nice days) on weekend mornings, and almost always a few guys who can train.

Actually that's where I first flew my plane about 8 or so years ago. Haven't flown it since. The retaining collar fell off the nose gear, and the whole assembly was hanging by only the control cable. My buddy that was showing me how to fly managed to land it without doing anything but chewing up the ends of the prop.
KCRC is a long way to drive on the weekend. I work off of Dutchtown during the week, so I get my fill of Knoxville traffic. Who knows, I might show up there one weekend.
