Tower has the 9 Cap Super with the PCM receiver for 399.99. I like flying PCM because it gives me a little more confidence against radio hits and failure. If the receiver loses its signal the receiver will go into fail safe. That is, that all the surfaces and throttle will return to a position that you set on the radio. Example, close throttle and return to neutral. I also noticed that if someone turns on your channel while you are flying you have a better chance of recovering if he realizes it before his signal becomes stronger than yours. Your plane will not immediately go out of control as with the FM. I know this because it happened to me just a couple of weeks ago. A guy turned on my channel and I flew for quite a distance before his radio overcame mine. Unfortunately he did not realize what he had done and caused my plane to go in.
