RE: Top Gun Edge 540
Adam
Nice to hear from you, as to the weight it comes out at 6Kg which is quite light for a gas engine as you call them, I decided on the MVVS purly because I can get them easily from Just Engines who have an enviable rep over here and that the 45 has a Magnezium crankcase so is only 2.5Lb, the rear rudder sevo installation has if anything strengthend the rear end due to the extra ply reinforcement to the tail section to attach the servo, it also enabled me to force epoxy into the tailplane to fus joint which was dubious to say the least as its only an epoxy joint no structural members passing over the top of the tail, I only bought this because it was second hand and cheap and its just a vehicle to run in the 45 (its going in the QQ Yak), if I had to buy new I would have gone for the Hanger 9 Extra which has had rave reviews is a two piece wing and obviously Hanger 9 quality which I have found to be excelent in the past. Thinking further I would also recommend the QQ series of Yak's they do a 73" version as well, have a look at them they are very good quality.
Please do come back if you require any further assistance only to please to give out any information from my not very vast experience, but at least its not hearsay.
