RE: DA 100 and AMT tuned pipe help
tuned pipes need to match a rpm and pressure
so - the 100 size (100cc) is fine on the AMT -but trying to run at the lower rpm a 27x10 will operate in, will cause a problem.
This pipe likes to operate in 7000 rpm range--with a header of about 11".
the right prop to run with the 100 is a 26x10 which allows 7000- minimum
you can add longer header but Ireally don't think you will like the results
also you can't run smoke - if you do run at lower revs - you are going to notice a stumble or flat spot at about 3000.
Iwould opt for some cans which are mildly tuned or NOT tuned at all if you aspire to a lot of prop hangin--JMB makes some cans -mufflers only which are quite good at any realistic rpm range - no power boost over open stack but very quiet.
