I had my first solo on September 19 and so far, my Nexstar has over 30 flights and is still going strong. This is a very good flying plane, and I hope to set it up for some video photography eventually. I still have yet to get signed off on the certificate, because I made a cross-wind takeoff and they want me to go up into the wind. Of course, that can easily be fixed and I'm in no hurry. The AMA is also offering a discount on their full membership, and I plan on taking advantage of that (the amount I paid for partial membership being taken off of full membership). Heck of a deal!
