Default Brushless Motor For Glider

Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading the brushed motor in my glider.

Only problem is that the nose is really small and I can't seem to squeeze any outrunner in there. Was thinking of putting this small inrunner in there instead:-

It definitely fits because I have the same motor wound for 3300 KV and that fits nicely. Unfortunately, its designed for geared applciations and no one I know has run one in a direct drive setup.

My question is whether the 1700KV version would be able to turn something like a 6 x 3 folding prop?

I think the motor is rated for something like 8A max. I would prefer to run a 3S lipo pack, but I do have 2S packs that would work as well. Can any one help?
