metal to metal RF interference...
Hello.
I am in process of building the fuse for my TF P51-B and the bell crank for the elevator is metal. As you may or may not know, the pushrod connection to the metal bell crank is sealed upon closing the fuse with top and bottom sheeting (I may try to make the bottom piece a "hatch" but I am concerned that this piece actually serves as a structural member in the fuse and "needs" to be glued in place). If I follow the directions (which I will probably decide to do) and seal the fuse, should I use the supplied plastic pushrod connector clevis or can I go with the metal clevis supplied with the "Gold-n-rod" I am putting in. I have a RCS 140 gasser in the nose with electronic ignition and I am concerned with the RF noise the metal to metal connection could possibly generate. Valid concern or should I go with the metal clevis because it should not be enough noise to cause interference? Thank you for your time and answer...
