Default RE: Cannister installation

Completed the installation of the cannister, what I can't belive is the 1050rpm increase between the two silencers, the cannister is a much more muted sound with a much cleaner pick up from low revs this is a revelation. See movie.Click here to watch MVVS-45-Mag-with-Pitts-and-Cannister
The installation was definatly worthwhile if only for the increase in performance that an extra 1000rpm will give, that has made up my mind no aircraft without the provision for a cannister is worth considering now that I have first hand conformaion of the benifits.

EDIT: final details are:
MVVS 45 Magnezium,
TD75 Cannister,
22x10 prop turning at 6150rpm, only turned at 5100 with the in cowl pitts.
still running in on 40:1 oil should inprove even more with reduced oil content.
