MGT is a good choice for backyard fun. The Revo is a good racer, but Traxxas engines range from trouble-free to impossible to tune. You never know what you're going to get with a Traxxas engine. The best of both worlds is to get a Revo and change out the engine. The O.S. TM is easy to tune and start...and it's fast.
