I try to be nice to ask what fuel is being used ... hehehehe ... I think only a YS110 would turn a 15x6 to 12,000 RPM. A SA82 turning at 12K will not last very long for sure and the it should be way out of the power curve.
Do you think the YS is getting on the upper limit ready to float the valves(if not already) @12,000 rpm? Actually, I have seen a YS110 turn a 15x6apc in the mid to upper 10's (guy had it on a 11 pound plane flying basic IMAC).

I would pit my .91FX on ultra-thust on 15% against the YS110 on 30% with an APC 15x6. My OSFX.91 turns an APC 15x6 just over 10,000 on 15% and stock muffler(baffle removed) or pitts. With an ultra-thust it will spin it in the mid 11's--huge difference in power on a large 10 pound plane.

For reference my OS108 turns the 15x6apc in the mid 10's and my SA100 turns it in the mid 9's on 15%.

A 15x6 is above the reccomended propeller range on that engine. The benchmark prop was an APC 13x8 so I would imagine that prop (13x8) would hunt around 10,500 or so.
Nice try though Maybe huffing all that octane has gone to your head
Did you mean 13x6? The 13x8apc is not far from the 15x6apc for static load.
