Default Question about engine flooding when starting

Flooding will make it difficult to start on any engine....and the EZ start is of course making the start up a little easier than pulling a chord...or having to fork over $$$ for a starter box.

That being said....As obvious as this is.....Try avoiding flooding the engine.....easier said than done, right?

Also....just before your ready to start the engine....you can back the glow plug out about 1/8 to 1/4 turn to allow the engine to start easier......once started....just remove the glow igniter and tighten the glow plug.

If my engine does get flooded....I usually remove the glow plug and turn the rig upside down....and using the EZ starter.....turn the engine over several times to get rid of the excess fuel. Then....put the glow plug back in and try starting it.

Good Luck!
