Default RE: Depron F16

I have a radar gun but have not been able to fly my Depron F18 long enough to clock it. [sm=frown.gif] Based on my MotoCalc info my Depron 3D Foamy F18 with a MiniFan 480 EDF unit would have a top speed of about 75MPH with a 3 turn 16-15-3 brushless and 4 cell LiPo pack. Max power used about 430 watts. If I were to put a 2 turn motor in it power consumption goes up to 932 watts! Top speed however is only estimate at 100 MPH. To get 135 MPH I'd have to use 2 packs in parallel of 4 cell 3300mAh batteries and the power consumption is 2070 watts! However, that setup did give an estimated top speed of 135 MPH. But props are more efficient so I guess you can get that speed with less power consumption? I'm wondering how the foam would hold up to >100MPH speed without being covered with a balsa skin or something to make it more ridgid?
