Default RE: Extreme Flight 87" Yak 54 - Build & Fly

Ihave been adding a 1.5 lb weight to my EF 87" Yak for quite some time now. It is an old disabled 4s2p E-pack 3700 x2 with all the cells isolated ( old battery low c rating). I load it into the into the tunnel on windy days . Smoke system would be a more practical choice, but I don;t like the mess and the rigging.

Works great. It's nuts, but it works. My old KMP Yak-54 reject always flew better in the wind because it was a porker at 17.5.

Yup, having your planes too light is a dream come true.

Sealing and waxing her up with the skis.....big aluminum ones. Cub style. Can't wait for the snow to stop.
