Maybe I can explain that a little better. For a test, take a 6 foot wooden dowel, in the center wrap the dowel with 5 pounds of weight. Now hold the dowl in the center and rock it back and forth like it was a wing. It will be very easy with no effort as the weight is on the pivot point. Now take the weight off the center and put 2 1/2 pounds on each end of the dowel. Again hold it in the center and rock it. You will feel a big diffrence because of momentum, and the placement of the weight. It will be much more stable when the weight is distributed rather than at the axis point
