Default RE: Exhaust Coupling for Miss Vegas

A note to all you newbies out there. The exhaust coupler is not intended to be an extension of the exhaust header to the tuned pipe. If you use it in that fashion it will burn out very rapidly. Especially on a high nitro burning racing engine. The proper set up has the tuned pipe sliding over the exhaust header or at least butting against it, with the Silicone coupler over that junction. If you've cut the pipe to short and there is a gap between the pipe and header then you need to put a correct size "jumper" in to fill the gap. The "jumper" is a section of aluminum tube sized the same as the pipe or header.
