I have a MT with an OS.18 TZ which good chance has as much power as the engine you are talking about or maybe even more but is a small block. Since putting the TZ in I have spent much time working on getting where I can run more then one or two tanks of fuel before tearing up the drive train. Have not gotten there yet but I am gaining. Good luck and make sure you buy plenty of extra drive train parts particularly the high dollar final gear sets. If you have the RTR you will have a lot more to do to it then if you have the SS. If you look around you will see I am not the only one having this problem with a high out put engine. Yes it can be done but get ready in putting as much or more in to beefing everything up as you will in the engine. I have been running my MT for 4 years. It is not a MT 2 but a MT 1 ¾. Just put the TZ in a couple months ago.
