The 1200 feet I referred to was a little bit exaggerated, I'll admit... I don't have a very good idea of distance by length, but I have been told by someone that we are getting about 500 feet up. At that point, the signal is still great. I would imagine that we could easily double that.
To increase distance our camera is mounted with the antenna pointed to the ground.
