Right now in my Savage I am running a XTM sliding clutch but the shoes seem to wear fairly quickly. I all so have run the Nova alloy shoes and they lasted about 3 gallons. The only problems with alloy shoes are they take a good bit of maintenance. You have to keep taking them out and filling the burs off where the alloy folds over the sides. Watch out as some alloy shoes are good, some are OK and some are just not worth it.
