Default How does a clutch work?

It's called centrifugal force. As the engine rpms increase the force of it spinning forces the clutch pads out wards against the housing. It's the same principal as swinging a bucket with water in it. Spin it slow and you get wet, spin it with force and the water stays in the bucket.
