Default RE: Midwest Extra 300 Questions

I use Hitec 615MG servos on elevator, rudder and ailerons and Hitec 300 on throttle. All are on a twin 1500 mAh 5-cell (6v) battery setup.

Can guarantee that the Extra on floats draws a crowd whenever it's flown! We always takefoff with a clear lake in front of us and within a few minutes it seems that everyone in the county on a pontoon boat has stopped - normally in the landing pattern - as well as all the jetskis. Have had skiers drop off so that the tow boat would come back and they could all watch. When we fly our Northstars we get a similar reaction (also should have seen the reaction of an ultralight pilot who was rounding the point at treetop level when one of our Northstars was at the same altitude and almost the same spot!) and have fun showing the hot-shoe jetski riders that they really aren't very fast! Can hardly wait until the 104" WS PBN Nomad as shown is flown this spring!
