Newb here, my son and I just got a SL. Brought it out ran about on top of the snow, was a little jerky and slow to respond to commands. Ran battery down, cooled and recharged. Went out again, son ran it about then I tried a few jumps into air. Woohooo first air experience! Problem then arose about every 10 seconds of power applied model would shut down motors. Elevator worked fine so radio is transmitting. Is the cold weather likely causing the problem I am having by degrading the performance of the Li-Po. Probably 15*F out I would guess.
