Omega,
Here's a couple sites that may help you out. It sounds like your getting frustrated, helis aren't that easy to fly. It takes time and patience. Just hang in there and take your time.
The set-up of the helicopter is very critical, once set up properly, it's alot easier to control.
Here's the sites:
Blade CP Repair site, look in left hand column under basic set-up:

Radd's School of Rotary Flight, you need this if you don't have any outside help to get you going. It's time consuming but well worth the effort:

If you need any other help/advise, just PM me, I don't check all the threads,

I also have this posted in the Beginners section but not getting much love there so I am posting here as well...
I have a BCP and had it for a few months and still cannot get a hover. It almost has to be something is not right on the heli... I can fly all over with my AFPD sim with only a few noob hickups from time to time.
What I am looking for is a link to something or a recommendation for how to setup, trim, track a BCP. I am even willing to go buy a book or DVD. Although all the searches I have done seem to say the same thing "you will get more out of stick time then reading or watching". Now while I agree with this, if I cannot get a hover I am not really getting stick time, and now the vicious cycle ensues.
I am very excited and saddened at the same time how some seem to just jump in, charge it up and take off. I am like a lot on this forum that flew planes and ran nitro trucks so I have pretty good eye hand and orientation on these things. I am just looking for the knowledge to get me over the hump.
I am even half temped to buy a BCP kit and build it...I just don't want to have 2 of the same heli's and I hope to move on to something larger this year... well depending on how things progress that is
Thanks again, you guys have all been great and I love all that I have learned so far!!
