not at all... it seemed solid through the approach to touchdown even with a slight crosswind.

just make sure you get some airspeed before lifting off and check its stall characteristics at altitude before you go to land.
Im sure you will be pleased with this plane... im considering buying another as a kit so I can cover it in my own scheme (I soon may have to recover this one anyway, because the cover is starting to show its age.)
