I don't fly rollers, I know the inputs but they look really bad.
What I am going to say is for all maneuvers.
I learned the mechanics and it allows me to fly the sportsman and intermediate maneuvers.
Once I realized that I needed to fly the plane along the course in my mind, it all changed.
I have not won a contest, but most of the maneuvers are flown holding the plane on its course.
