That is correct. I moved the weights Min to Max and it still launched like always. Down side was the wear on the bell. It did not last as long or well as the stock ones. My guess is these aluminum parts do reduce the rotating mass but are almost disposable for durability. If you race and can afford to replace after each race then it is an advantage to you I suppose. My guess is these small cnc machines available today make small parts like this easy to do.
