I've found that by attaching the cowling, the heli is much easier to see. Because you are flying the nose, a bright canopy makes it much easier to control. Too bad you can't change batteries without removing the cowling. It adds alot of time between batteries, but the visibility is much better and really helps to control the heli.

I am able to hover in one spot and rotate the heli left or right all the way around. Its not perfect, but it can be done.

The tip about moving the cyclic stick whichever way the heli is moving when Nose-in really helped.
