per FCC it is illegal to change crystals in a TX unless it is equipped with a RF module which is removable and replaceable. these are the total RF component of the TX. they plug into the back of the TX
so two reasons not to attempt it, it's illegal and you would probably end up losing your airplane or causing someone else to crash to to off frequency operation.
