and when it goes Bang.. or overheats its more ex*****ive to fix..

I would go brushless for racing where there is adequate airflow..
um. the chances of that happening would be next to zero. and you wouldnt be able to cause that to happen without purposely trying to break it. if that did happen. i could easily be a factory mistake. brushed motors break way more than brushless motors. bl are virtually maintanence free. no comm cuts. no brush changing. nothing. on the other hand with brushed motors. you have to do all that and brushed motors and i would think that brushed motors have a way shorter lifetime than brushless.
