RE: Extreme Flight RC Yak 54 - 74 inch!
I can't tell exactly how close it will be to the inside of the cowl without the stack, but I'd guess maybe 1/2" clearance or more.
My problem wasn't removing the stack, I'm OK with that. I wouldn't cut it just in case I wanted to reinstall it, I'd just get the shorter screws. I was just worried about what removing it would do to the performance of the motor. I'm thinking Scott put it on there to enhance the top end and gain some RPM's.
