what got you into it????
I started with plastic models also, me and a friend would build them all winter then spend the summer blowing them up with firecrackers in mock battles. My job now involves blowing things up, on a bigger scale.
In about 1972 a guy by the name of Gene Rogers, who worked with my dad and had many published plans in Flying models, gave me a bunch of engines and kits, mostly CL stuff. He was getting out of the hobby to build a full scale kit plane. I don't know if he ever finished it, we moved away a year or two later.
And as they say, "the rest is history"
