RE: What prop size for magnum 52 four stroke
I have a master airscrew 12/4 "k" series on a magnum 52 mounted on a Eagle 2. Flies great. I have used a 12/5 and a 12/6 in MA and APC but my 52 likes the MA 12/4
It pulls the plane better. Engine will turn 9800 on 15% four stroke fuel revs quick and slows down for a nice and slow landing. I didn't like this engine untill I found out that
the idle needle was turning itself in while running causing a lot of dead stick landings. I adjusted idle and siliconed the needle, no problems since.
