Default RE: aluminum spinner for 2 stroke

I can verify that plastic spinners can be dangerous on a 4 stroke.

I was breaking in an 80 size 4 stroke on the bench. The engine started, ran about 10 seconds, backfired and I was "shot" in the stomach with a 2 1/2" plastic spinner. I have a "very nice" bruise that now a yellow/purple in color. The spinner was brand new, but when the engine backfired, it sheared the pins with the attaching screws in it. The prop did not change position on the backplate.
