I guess warhwk was right about ugly planes flying better,
my maiden flight with the spree sport went very well indeed.
although It was a little to breezy to be out on a maiden and first time using ailerons.
I soon got the hang of the ailerons and being able to balance the plane back to level flight was a total bonus as I'm only used to the "v"tail of the hobbyzone challenger,
I didn't go doing any clever stunts ,just flying around In a large circle and staying level after the turns was difficult enough.
Altogether I had six good flights and on the last flight I managed to make a couple of rather bouncy touch and goes, then the wind picked up a little so I called It a day and retired indoors.
One quick question,
I would like a little more flight time so I'm going to install the seperate Rx battery to run the servos but I think I need to disable the BEC on the ESC
(a ripmax xtra 22, 5-10 cells brushed )
I've looked all over trying to get info on It but can't find anything.
Any help Is most gratefully received,
Thanks.
Paul.
The guys in the electric forums will jump all over this question. Here you will get a lot of guys saying put a nitro motor in it

But esentially the battery is the fuel tank for those "lecky" things and the more Milliamps the more flight time you have. Volts = power and milliamps = flight time.
