Transfer the Monokote ( or whatever your using ) to the airplane, and put a few tabs of tape on to keep it in place. Measure the other side and adjust if you need. Make it as smooth as possible. Tack a few spots near the tape, then iron the seams ONLY, and maybe up about an inch. Do both sides.
