Well, after 8 months, my Skygate Hawk is arriving on Tuesday. I have ummed and erred for ages as to which scheme to do. Seeing as my wife surprised me by paying for it for me for Xmas I feel indebted to do it in the Red Arrows scheme as she requested () but I am really getting an urge to go 'military' for two reasons. Firstly, is that almost every Hawk I see nowadays is in the Red Arrows scheme and, secondly, the guy I have lined up to paint it is absolutely awesome at weathering/washing and grubbying up an airframe. I think this look will also emphasise the amazing moulding details on the kit as the rivets/screws etc will stand out more when dirtied up.

I also want to fit the underbody cannon so if anyone knows where I can get cross sections of that then that would be great. Also, if anyone out there enjoys making moulds etc and fancies producing me one then please let me know
