Wayne,
Yeah, that's why I said if anybody is willing to pay what they're worth. Actually I built min in one week, and covered it in 1/2 week, but I was unemployed and motivated he he. Yes, that's a YS91AC in the nose, with a Zinger16x6 prop that I modifiied and love now.
Mine has a little bit of battle scars now, but only in the covering. When it was newly built, I would ask $300 for it, now $250 would take it, which is close to what it costs to build it.
I want to build a Jerry's Spoiler, and I am also getting warm on The Great Knife for an OS BGX-1 I have, and apparenntly can't even giive away ha ha.
It flies well, funny thing how the engine mounts to the right of center line, so I have about 1/16" under forward mounting holes for right thrust.
Mine needs a fair amount of spoilerons to do an elevator and harrier, and even then it is 'hairy' on a windy day. I only bring it down to a harrier landing on fairly calm days, others I bring it to within a foot and go up to a hover and torqueroll. I am finally getting to the point where I dont have to think about the rudder beeing reversed when belly in.
Here's another picture, I just did the lnding gear, but only saved in the neighborhood of 4-5 oz, but it looks techy he he.
