Another thought. That G-62 should have at minimum been running a 22-10. 23-8 would have been a better choice still. As Mark noted, use better props. The cheap ones don't save you any money in the long run. Glad to hear it all ended well. Woulda scared the dickens outta me.
Check the firewall and all the wood joints very careful to be sure the glue joints are intact. Losing a prop blade has been known to tear the entire engine from the plane.
