I agree, it should be easy, so in general term, it is perfectly right what you said:
Higher turn -> more torque, less power, less rpm, longer run-time (that's why people use lathe motor for crawler, crazy torque!!)
Lower turn -> less torque, higher power, higher rpm, less run-time!
