Nick The pipes we make for our customers are made out of .007 " stainless for the inner pipe and .005 " for the outer pipe. Have made both out of .007 " , but when customer needs it lighter this works fine most pipes in the 24" range the pipes weigh about 1 lb. This is with a stainless bell mouth on the inner pipe. Outer aluminum will loose only about 2 ounces because it needs to heavier wall about .018"

added a picture of the pipe we made for the Euro Sport this pipe gave us about 4 lbs. of static thrust increase over the pipe that came with the kit . it weighs just u nder 1 lb.
