RE: Blade Cx2 for Intermediate Pilot?
I started with a CX and have not gotten bored with it. It serves a purpose all its own... it flies conveniently inside and it's useful for keeping your skills up on figure eights, nose-in hovers, etc. In other words, it acts like a flying version of a simulator. Well you get the idea. It's a useful training tool and more fun than a simulator. Unfortunately, I still crash it sometimes and it still costs me money as a result. However, when I go back to the CX after flying my 'larger, more precise heli' I renew my appreciation for just how incredibly well a CX flies. It goes up, it goes down. It turns left and right. No fuss, no hassles, no fiddling around. No, it's not acrobatic, and it's forward flight leaves a lot to be desired. Yet, unless I crash, I basically never need to fiddle with it. Neall
