Well, I think I can speak on this subject since I've had a couple of Duraplane Aerobats & a U.S. Aircore Colt and a Cub. Neither one is indestructible - I know firsthand. Although, they are tougher than your average plane. They are both straightforward in their assemblies, it's just that they're not the easiest arfs to put together. U.S. Aircores aren't just " fold & fly ", they are plastic airplanes which require alot of clamps to keep the parts together while the glue dries. As you know, Duraplanes don't require much gluing, so these are two completely different planes. In my opinion, the Aircores were a decent airplane; they flew well and they " looked " like an airplane. If you get one, make sure the " engine mount setup " is secured firmly to the plane. Put a couple of screws in the side so it doesn't slide out.
