RE: axe cp thread
I DID IT..Again
2 batt's and I was about 2 ft off the basement floor. Pretty exciting to say the least. OWEVER..Things I learned. The screw or hex bolt that holds the rotor blades like to come loose. Makes the Heli act funny. So I was stoping and tigning that thing alot.
The bigest thing I learned is Rotor blades and basement poles do not gel well together. Last batt I was TRYING to get the heli back to me but head on...WRONG..Forget the controls are now backwards when doing that..My brain knew it but my fingers did not. Toasted the blades but that was all. Time to go get another set at the LHS..I wonder if the CF ones are more durable. Heck, I have a great woodshop in my garage..I can try to make some..hehehehehe
