Shouldn't feel foolish. There are many things that can happen to cause problems and you wouldn't think an antenna from a new tx would be loose. It was just by chance that I noticed the "chirping" when I bumped the tx, so I did it again and that is the only reason I started even looking down that road. Good luck in getting it resolved and back to flying.
