Many years ago, I had one hot start on a heli after I switched from a JR servo to a Futaba servo. They have their movements reversed.

After that I sold the 30 sized helicopter and got myself a 50 and a 90. Those will get your attention real quick. If not, irreversible damage could occur.

Knoing that, I'm pretty cautious on the way I do my pre- and post flight checks.

we are strying away from the subject at hand. What was the concensus? You could do it on the TX, but on the RX you need a regulator, right?
