I would think that 21st Century fabric would give you a nice finish. I have never used it but I have heard it goes on nice, especially around curves. I have read people complaining that it don't stick, but I think that may be because they are using too high of a temp on the iron--it's a low temp covering. ALso, one more work about this covering--it gets very heavy when you paint it...
I have attached a picture of a NE-1. Notice the caption says that the upper surfaces were blue and the bottom was grey, not white.
